ABOUT DR. DAVID AVAKIAN Dr. Avakian is a certified Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and licensed to practice medicine and surgery in New York and California. After receiving his medical degree in the United States, Dr. Avakian has completed a Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine and specialized in anti-aging medicine and skin care. He received intensive training from the Meso Aesthetic Institute and the North Shore LIJ Health System. Dr. Avakian has received advanced training in the areas of injectable cosmetic fillers, Botox, sclerotherapy, mesotherapy and laser skin treatments. He has certifications from the most of the light-based aesthetic companies including Orion/Alma, Lumenis, Candela, Palomar, Cynosure, and Syneron.

Dr. Avakian is a Certified Member of the American Geriatric Society and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He is the Director of Vita Laser Medical Spa and a Medical Attending at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Avakian’s unique experience in anti-aging and aesthetic medicine, along with his devotion to the patients and commitment to clinical excellence enables him to elevate the level of care he provides up to the level of Medical Art.

Vita is proud to introduce Lucinda Montano, our Licensed Medical Aesthetician who holds CIDESCO degree, one of the highest degrees attainable in this field. Born and trained in Great Britain, Lucinda is also licensed in NYC with 15 years of hands-on experience in the medical spa settings assisting many prestigious plastic surgeons on Park Avenue.

Lucinda’s unique experience includes laser hair removal, photofacial/IPL, laser vein removal and skin tightening, LED skin rejuvenation, facials, chemical peels and microdermabrasion. She had been featured in Ellie, Lucky, Modern Bride and Soma magazines and had had TV appearances on Fox 5 news and Beauty and Geek.
